Product Test Technician

Iteris is looking for a Production Test Technician to support in a production environment, performing a variety of tests on production hardware to ensure the product performs with intended functionality in a satisfactory manner. Testing to include bench testing, environmental testing, and loading firmware based on customer needs.


What you will be doing:

  • Performs testing and troubleshooting of products using a working knowledge of test equipment ranging from DVM's, environmental chambers, to power supplies
  • Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, specifications, work orders and related reports in determination of proper test process.
  • Prepare product and environmental chambers for overnight runs of production hardware. At end of run review recorded data for any evidence of problems with video or performance.
  • May assist in preparation of technical reports summarizing findings and recommending possible solutions to technical problems
  • Upon conclusion of final testing, load appropriate firmware version and move to finish goods.

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required
  • Certification of Electronics training through accredited school
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a production test role
  • Basic electro-mechanical assembly skills a plus
