Forklift Operator

V&S Galvanizing, LLC has over 100 years of experience in Hot Dip Galvanizing and we are the leader in the steel coating industry. Today we operate over 9 galvanizing plants in the U.S. , featuring exceptional service to small fabricators as well as companies known worldwide.

We are currently searching for an experienced Forklift Operator at our Owego, NY facility.

Duties:

• Loading/unloading incoming and outgoing material.
• Preparation and staging of material for shipping.
• Crane and forklift operations.
• Quality assurance.
• Perform various physical duties as assigned.

Experience and Skills:

• Must have experience building long, heavy loads (example: steel beams)
• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent hand-eye-coordination skills.
• Experience with metal and steel is preferred
