We are developing an alternative system that attempts to address some of the conditions that lead to incarceration such as homelessness, mental health, addiction, lack of employment, and opportunities. We hope to build a sustainable network of providers in collaboration with law enforcement and district attorneys to expand the capacity of the community to support those in need.

Under the direction of the Manager, the System Navigator of Alternatives to Incarceration will provide screening and assessment of individuals detained by law enforcement and determined eligibility for diversion services. Provide navigation services to ensure clients gain access to access to housing, healthcare, substance abuse, and social services through our network of partner agencies. This is a field-based position and will be co-located at the LAPD 77th Police Station.
