PAY RANGE: $81,400.00 - $90,000.00 ANNUALLY

 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Digital Content Specialist supports the Digital Content Manager on golden1.com, focusing on the effective use of the Sitecore content management system (CMS) for accurate and timely content updates and publications. This role involves developing and maintaining digital content, coordinating content-related projects, and facilitating communication between the MarTech team and other departments. The specialist provides technical support, maintains detailed documentation for content strategies, and stays updated with the latest digital content trends to suggest improvements. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing digital content processes and fostering interdepartmental collaboration to advance the organization’s digital content objectives.

TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS:

  1. Content Management System Support: Assist the Digital Content Manager with day-to-day operations on the Sitecore content management system, ensuring content is updated and published accurately and on schedule.
  2. Content Development Support: Aid in the development, editing, and maintenance of digital content across various platforms in line with the strategic direction set by the Digital Content Manager.
  3. Project Coordination: Coordinate projects involving digital content creation and management, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
  4. Stakeholder Communication: Serve as a secondary point of contact for communication between the MarTech team and other departments, helping to ensure alignment on digital content initiatives.
  5. Technical Troubleshooting: Provide first-level support for any technical issues that arise with the content management system or other digital tools used by the team.
  6. Documentation: Maintain thorough documentation of content strategies, schedules, and analytics reports to support continuous improvement.
  7. Innovation Research: Keep abreast of the latest trends in digital content and content management technologies, suggesting new tools or practices that could enhance the team's work.
  8. These duties are designed to support the Digital Content Manager in efficiently managing and optimizing digital content initiatives while facilitating collaboration across various teams and stakeholders
  9. Performs other duties as assigned.

 

PHYSICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXERTION UTILIZED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE TASKS:

  1. Effective oral and written communication skills required to varying levels of analytical daily tasks.
  2. Must possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully operate standard office equipment such as a personal computer, VOIP telephone, printers, scanners, etc.

ORGANIZATIONAL CONTACTS & RELATIONSHIPS:

  1. INTERNAL:  All levels of staff.
  2. EXTERNAL:  Vendors, management, other financial institutions, etc.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in management of information systems, marketing, communications and/or comparable experience.

 

  1. EXPERIENCE: Two years of demonstrated effective digital content management using Sitecore CMS, including the Marketer Suite; digital instructional content creation, CMS management and implementation. Two years of digital content marketing, SEO, etc.
  2. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: 
  • Strong knowledge of Sitecore CMS; MS Office 365. 

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Carry and respond to a cell phone 7 days a week. May need to diagnose problems from home, occasionally may need to travel to site to correct problem either by car or public conveyance.
  2. Prolonged sitting throughout the workday with occasional mobility required.
  3. Corrected vision within the normal range.
  4. Hearing within normal range. A device to enhance hearing will be provided if needed.
  5. Occasional movements throughout the department daily to interact with staff, accomplish tasks, etc.
  6. Must comply with the credit union’s work location policies of the day.
