PAY RANGE: $89,600.00 - $105,000.00 ANNUALLY

 

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

The Leadership Development Senior Partner provides resources and builds relationships focusing on the mission and objectives set forth by the organization. Acts as an operational and strategic resource driving the planning and execution of Leadership Development across the organization. Interfaces with all levels of Senior Leadership to align with key initiatives, develops content for Leadership Programs, and implements solutions which seek to enhance the professional growth of all Golden 1 employees. Actively participates in Golden customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

 

TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for executing, and managing major leadership development strategies system-wide, including the development of leadership curricula, in collaboration with Talent Management career development planning, and individual leadership development plans.
  • Partners with business units to develop and implement leadership development strategies.
  • Prepares and delivers facilitation of leadership development programming and experiential development plans.
  • Provides executive coaching to senior managers and high potential candidates.
  • Assesses training needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups, and/or consultation with managers, consultants, or others to identify needs and to develop an aligned curriculum of system and campus programs, on-line tools, and resources.
  • Develops instructional materials for leadership programming; Keeps abreast of curriculum, development, training and facilitation, market information & trends to ensure competitive and relevant design and delivery.
  • Shares accountability and responsibility with other Learning, Leadership and Talent Development Partners for consistent integrated solutions across the organization.
  • Develops appropriate metrics and tracking mechanisms to build accountability and measure results.
  • Leverages data analysis to narrate leadership development outcomes contributing to organizational results achievements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned in the advancement of the department’s goals.

 

PHYSICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXERTION UTILIZED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE TASK:

  1. Effective oral and written communication skills required in facilitation, interact with employees, external contacts outside vendors, prepare recommendations and reports, make presentations, and constructively follow up on employee concerns and inquiries. Must possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully operate an on-line computer terminal and other standard office equipment, such as personal computer and telephone.

ORGANIZATIONAL CONTACTS & RELATIONSHIPS:

  1. INTERNAL: All levels of staff and management.
  2. EXTERNAL: Vendors, experts in fields related to seminars, and peers in financial institutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. EDUCATION: Master’s degree in relevant discipline such as Psychology, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Leadership, Training and Development, or related field
  2. EXPERIENCE: OR Bachelor’s degree and five to seven years of progressive experience in people leadership, organizational development, talent management or related field
  3. KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS: Must possess working knowledge of adult learning principles and theories. Experience working with management in areas of leadership development. Builds credibility quickly. Strong curriculum design and development skills, including the ability to originate training programs. Ability to develop and apply different methods of training and critical thinking to enhance the learning experience. Strong facilitation and presentation skills. Skilled at making clear and persuasive presentations. Ability to drive change management and business cultural transformation. Demonstrated ability to handle difficult training topics and conflict in training sessions, as well as be able to influence outcomes of discussions. Ability to interact well with all levels of staff and leadership. Must be able to work independently with little supervision and manage multiple projects concurrently. Requires excellent project/time management skills, working under multiple deadlines. General business practice, analytical ability, general math skills, financial calculators, Microsoft Office Suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Strong oral and written communication skills.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Prolonged sitting throughout the workday with occasional mobility required.
  2. Corrected vision within the normal range.
  3. Hearing within normal range. A device to enhance hearing will be provided if needed.
  4. Occasional movements throughout the department daily to interact with staff, accomplish tasks, etc.
  5. Minimal travel locally and statewide by car or public conveyance to attend meetings at other Golden 1 offices as needs arise. Overnight and evening schedules included.
  6. Unusually long work hours may be required to accomplish tasks.

LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:

• Certified in at least one recognized assessment tools (i.e., CliftonStrengths, EQ-i.,Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI),.) CliftonStrengths preferred, OR

• Certified in two or more leadership development programs (i.e., Crucial Conversations, SLII, The Leadership Challenge), or Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) through the Association for Talent Development (ATD)
