Position:Sandblast/Finish/Acid Washer


Job Summary:Sandblast, Finish, and Acid Wash precast products to meet customer specifications for the final finish on precast panels and other structures.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Effectively use the tools and equipment required for Finishing precast products.
Effectively use the tools and equipment required for Sandblasting precast products.
Effectively use the tools and equipment required for putting the finishing touches on precast products.
Assist in inspecting for flaws or defect due to damage and or production defects
Assist and maintain equipment used the Finishing and Patching department.

Working Conditions:

Outdoor working environment.
Exposed to adverse weather.
Frequently exposed to machine noise associated with heavy equipment.
Exposed to dust associated with finishing concrete panels.

Education/Experience/Qualifications:

High School education or above preferred.
Yard Crane Operator experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to wear personal protection (PPE) such as steel toe work boots, respirators, hard hats, hi-vis vests, safety glasses and hearing protection. This is an outdoor work environment: Exposure to sun, heat, humidity, cold, wind, light rain, sand and dust. Works close by and exposed to moving construction vehicles such as forklifts, front-end loaders, cranes and tractor-trailers.
