GATE FUEL SERVICE MECHANIC AND FUEL SERVICE TECH POSITIONS

FUEL SERVICE TECH
 

This position is a customer service orientated repair technician. Gate Fuel Service is a drug and alcohol – free workplace. This position must adhere to all rules and regulations that are required by the D.O.T and EPA. This position requires passing a certified DOT medical examination clearing this person for driving commercial service vehicles. This position requires excellent driving and customer service skills, good organizational skills, the ability to document data accurately for billing and a consistent ability to work in a team. Verifiable Class B or A with Hazmat endorsement is necessary.

DIESEL MECHANIC
 

This position includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

· Keep company equipment available for use by completing PMs procedures

· Maintain vehicle records by annotating service and repairs

· Keep shop equipment operation by following operating instructions.

· Responsible for attending all safety meetings

· Containing cost by using warranty, evaluation service and part options

· Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

· Keep all certification up to date.

· Sweep and clean work areas

· Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, etc.

· Check all DVIR’s every day on each vehicle.

· Keep all needed inventory on hand

· Make sure all vehicles comply with Federal, State and Gate Standards.
