INVENTORY CONTROL INTERN

Galloway Company is a family-owned business based in Neenah, WI that specializes in producing quality dairy products and ingredients. They are the largest manufacturer of cream liqueur bases in the country and also produce sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, cream liqueur, and beverage bases. Their subsidiary, Classic Mix Partners, is the largest manufacturer of frozen dairy dessert mixes in Wisconsin, supplying customers across the country.

Join our summer team as an Inventory Control Intern while learning important manufacturing skills and experiences.

As a member of Galloway’s Supply Chain team the successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience.

Primary responsibilities:

• Support the Inventory Management project by helping with various tasks needed for enhancements

• Develop a general knowledge of all process areas in the plant and support daily activities as needed
• Provide transactional support by performing cycle counts and reporting back to Inventory Control Manager the results and suggestions for area of improvement
• Perform inventory checks and update quantities as directed by Supply Chain Manager
• Support the month end inventory process and provide insight on ways to streamline the process
• Ability to read and understand production schedules and how it relates to ingredient and packaging demand
• Assist Inventory Control Manager with warehouse transfers

Education/Skills

• Education/Experience – pursuing Business Degree - emphasis in inventory control/supply chain
• Past Inventory Control experience
• Accuracy in documentation and data entry
• Microsoft Office Skills
• Ability to Multitask
