                                              What We Need

FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire an Implementation, Portfolio Manager and Team Lead within our Corpay division. In this role, you will take direction from senior and executive leadership, the Portfolio Manager - Implementation assists in facilitating excellence in supporting and executing against a portfolio of client implementations. This will involve some projects that are owned by this individual, but primarily will consist of projects that are managed by a subset of project managers that will work within a respective portfolio. The Portfolio Manager communicates portfolio goals, reinforces process updates, and deadlines to team. There are aspects of motivating the individuals managing projects within a respective portfolio, as well as providing insights used in assessing performance. May provide support to the organization and/or leadership team in additional ways including, but not limited to: participating in hiring procedure, training and on-boarding, as well as project and performance exception management. A fully successful individual in this role stands out amongst their peers, naturally takes ownership and desires to step-in and assist team members, and other partners to ensure client and organizational success. Furthermore – This role is critical to sharing knowledge and expertise throughout the organization aiding in continuing the build-from-within tenet at our operating core. You will report directly to Manager, Implementation and regularly collaborate with various departments.


How We Work

As an Implementation, Portfolio Manager and Team Lead, you will be expected to work in remote environment. FLEETCOR will set you up for success by providing:

Role Responsibilities

The responsibilities of the role will include:

  • Supporting operations and facilitate exceptions up through management
  • Supporting, communicating, and executing corporate goals/initiatives to in-portfolio project managers
  • Conducting consistent reviews/touchpoints with in-portfolio project managers
  • Utilizing project management skills to aide/facilitate in planning and execution of projects
  • Working with in-portfolio project managers to ensure utilization of implementation standard best practices
  • Working in-portfolio to ensure consistent usage of program growth and client engagement best practices
  • Acting as a strategic and consultative partner to clients (on projects directly owned as well as within the portfolio)
  • Contributing to continuous process improvement
  • Supporting Team Manager and performing management duties when absent or out of the office
  • Filling in for Sr. Implementation Project Manager duties as defined (on directly owned projects)
  • Generating and sharing comprehensive and detailed reports about portfolio performance, mission-related objectives, and deadlines

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Supports Team Manager and performs management duties when absent or out of the office
  • Provides encouragement to in-portfolio team members, including communicating portfolio goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks
  • Assists management with hiring processes and new team member training
  • Assists with team meetings to update members on best practices and continuing expectations
  • Reviews project analytics on a daily basis to assist PM with ramping projects
  • Tier 1 Escalations - Provides quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer enquiries, and effectively handling customer complaints
  • Also fulfill Sr. Implementation Project Manager duties as defined
  • Contribute to assessing and developing on-boarding approach for Implementation Project Managers
  • Manage internal projects or initiatives based on senior and executive leadership needs
  • Ability to travel to customer for onsite meetings when necessary

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience that is required for the job
  • 7+years of experience in a professional work environment
  • 5+ year of experience with implementations, client support, or customer-interfacing
  • 3+ year of experience with implementation project management
  • Experience with financial applications and knowledge of accounting processes
  • Full life-cycle financial system implementation experience
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to deliver on commitment
  • Ability to work calmly in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to make suggestions for process improvements to address product quality, cost reduction, cycle time and/or productivity
