Director Customer Credit Analytics – North American Fuel

What We Need
 
FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire a Director Customer Credit Analytics within our Fuel division. This position falls under our North American Fuel line of business and is located in Atlanta. In this role, you will use data and analytics to drive credit and risk strategy development for FLEETCOR’s North American Fuel Organization. In this role, you will serve as the Credit Risk leader tasked with enabling growth of FleetCor’s North American Fuel business while mitigating losses. You will report directly to the VP of NAF Risk and regularly collaborate with various department. Requirement is for the candidate to be based in Atlanta.

As a Director Customer Credit Analytics, you will be expected to work in a hybrid environment. FLEETCOR will set you up for success by providing:
 
• Assigned workspace in Atlanta office/full office set up

• Formal, hands-on training 
 
Role Responsibilities
 
The responsibilities of the role will include:
 
• North American Fuel Card Risk: You will own all aspects of credit risk for the existing NAF customer base and ensuring that credit losses come in under plan while growth targets are being met
• Collaborating with cross-functional partners including marketing, sales, operations, credit, collections, and fraud teams to create business strategies
• Strategic Thinking and Driving Growth: As the Credit Risk leader you will champion and lead Risk strategies to enable growth of this business including, for example, evaluating new data sources to enhance our credit rules/policies, CLI/CLD strategies, account reviews, and other loss mitigation strategies

Qualifications & Skills
 
• 7+ years of progressive experience within Credit Risk Management for a revolving card issuer
• 5+ years of experience with data be that business credit bureau data and/or alternative data like banking data, Accounting data (QuickBooks etc.)
• You are hands on and are excellent at SQL, Excel and PowerPoint
• Preference for talent with SMB Credit card experience – not just consumer card experience
• Master’s Degree Preferred

• Hands On: We are looking for “player-coaches” so someone who is desirous of getting their hands dirty.  If you can’t write your own SQL code, build business cases in excel or create awesome PowerPoint presentations then this is not the right role for you.     
• Business Acumen: You have strong business acumen which means a few things like (i) ability to think strategically, frame for success and execute tactically (ii) understand how to prioritize most important and (iii) deliver results over short, medium and long term etc.
