EXL Health is looking for a Proposal Writer Intern. This is a 100% remote opportunity.

An EXL Health proposal writer intern works with the bid management team, growth office team, and subject matter experts to effectively write compelling content for winning proposals. This position will also be responsible for writing content for proposals, presentations, and sales collateral, as needed.

The right candidate will be creative, detail oriented, and flexible, prepared to meet aggressive deadlines; and a variety of deliverables. The individual must have strong organizational and interpersonal skills; be a self-starter that works independently, as well as within groups with various levels of management.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and support responses for large/complex proposals by partnering with EXL Health’s growth office, bid management teams, and various internal groups.
• Create original content and synthesize tactical messaging in a clear and concise manner.
• Identify creative ways to present EXL Health’s value proposition supporting client pursuits.
• Translate identified messages into language that differentiates our position and addresses specific client needs.
• Craft proposal language, develop presentations, build standard materials, engage in best practices, as well as collaborate with internal design teams to ensure visual aesthetics and key win themes are included in deliverables.
• Create new content, manage content library, and conduct regular content reviews with subject- matter experts.
• Ensure all materials are compliant with EXL brand standards.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a four-year degree in liberal arts, journalism, marketing communications, creative writing, or other related degree from an accredited college or university.
• Able to conceptualize, write, and review highly effective executive summaries, proposal content, and corporate sales materials.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills - AP Style knowledge
• Confident working in a fast-paced, time-sensitive, corporate environment, dealing with executive-level decision-makers and critical business issues.
• Intermediary skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to learn new technologies easily.
