Role Overview:

EXL provides consulting and analytics support to fortune 500 companies across multiple industry domains. For this role, you will be helping out a leading US Telecom & Media firm with strategic analytics and enabling them to use data for making business decisions. Some of your responsibilities include –

• Take stakeholder needs into consideration, bridging methodology and data into meaningful strategy from your analyses.
• To be a communicator who crafts impactful data narratives that inform business decisions
• Work with large big data sources, focusing on efficient data creation and feature engineering. Define procedures for data cleansing, discretization, outlier treatment, variable selection, standardization etc. for strategic analytics
• Summarize analysis and create presentations that represent the findings / outcomes of the data effectively in concise, understandable terms
• Contribute to the team through mentorship, technical methods, improvements in how we work

Qualifications

• Masters or Bachelor's degree in Data analytics, Computer Engineering, Math, Statistics, Economics or related analytics field from top-tier universities with strong record of achievement
• and an entrepreneurial, hands-on approach 3+ years of experience with analytical skills
• Comfortable with writing complex SQL queries for data retrieval & transformation (Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform is a plus)
• Proficient in Python. Pyspark knowledge would be a plus
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
• , keen intellectual curiosity, strong attention to detail and sense of drive. Good problem solving skills
• Prior experience in management consulting and/or analytics based consulting is a plus
• Experience with making PowerPoint Presentations for C-Suite Audience is a plus
