Partner Sales Executive

What part will you play?
The Partner Sales Executive (PAE) will join an early-stage team of professionals who are passionate about growing Diversified’s Partner business through its Global Alliances business.  You will be utilizing a consultative solutions sales approach, to develop and create “sell with/through” Partnerships with existing and new IT Service based companies.  The PAE will be a solid relationship-builder who will work alongside the Director, Global Alliances and Global Sales Support team to implement AV environments. The PAE is responsible for providing Diversified’s clients and prospects with the highest possible level of quality in service to their account.  The PAE is responsible for communicating the specifics of client requirements to internal and external Diversified support personnel, so that the client experiences a superior level of customer service. It is the responsibility of the PAE to ENSURE that client expectations are being met or exceeded by creating realistic expectations, then taking responsibility for meeting those expectations.  

What will you be doing?
Business Development & Sales
  • Develop and implement joint business plans that identify key growth areas in partner organizations to help increase revenue and capitalize on our technologies, increase their commitment to our business relationship.
  • Work with the partner to develop the partner’s commitment, capability, and capacity to meet agreed financial metrics and KPIs.
  • Account manage Strategic Partners in order to build and develop relationships.
  • Experience of selling at “CxO” level, positioning Digital Workplace strategies and positioning the entire Diversified portfolio of Products/Managed Services
  • Acts as the team leader for Diversified’s delivery of proposals for customer and RFP opportunities, and functions as the lead customer relationship manager for new and assigned partner accounts.
Technical and Business Expertise
  • Previous partner business development experience including joint business plans, negotiation of legal agreements, including joint resale agreements, Joint development, as necessary.
  • Comfortable working with multiple internal teams, from individual contributors to senior executives, building/maintaining relationships with clients, partners.
  • Display a strong understanding of IT and networking technologies. 
  • Possess good business negotiation skills. 
Team Responsibilities
  • Be a team player and contribute to the overall effectiveness of the team.
  • Represent Diversified professionally and ethically and demonstrate good judgment and common sense in handling customer issues."
  • Work independently with minimum supervision, and exercise strong technical, written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Participate in national and regional conference calls to access potential sales activity.
  • Utilize and update Diversified CRM system to track opportunities, consistently, plus report monthly on sales activities and results
WHSQ (Work, Health, Safety, & Quality) Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and wear appropriate PPE as the job and tasks require it
  • Report Incidents within 24 hours regardless of severity
  • Ensure hazards are addressed and rectified in a timely manner
  • Promote and engage in Safety Culture within organization. 
Complexity:
This role is a highly visible role liaising between our Partner organizations and our regional sales and technical operations teams.  The candidate should have superior communication, presentation and organizational skills to ensure complete alignment across the entire sales lifecycle.

Decision Making Authority:
This position will align with designated partners to solve customer needs through solutions selling; use joint account planning, lead sharing, marketing, and demand generation activities to uncover new opportunities. This role will develop, manage and close partner opportunities across all business units.

Physical Working Environment:
This position will be 100% remote and will require hours sitting behind a desk and in front of a computer.

Ability to travel up to 25% is expected

What do we require from you?
Education/Certifications:
At minimum, a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, or Business

Required/Desired Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
  • 5+ years Channel Management experience, able to articulate and demonstrate above quota performance
  • Experience of working in an IT Managed Service environment and able to understand and articulate Business Values to the CxO level
  • Demonstratable ability to create and manage Account Development Plans (ADP’s), plus managing Quarterly Executive Business Reviews (QBR’s)
