Client Renewal Specialist

What part will you play? 
The Client Renewal Specialist is primarily responsible for agreement creation, renewal, activation, adjustment and system maintenance for clients in all Business groups. Work responsibilities include partnering with Account Executives, sales leadership and clients to price, quote, create, modify and maintain in the database. High priorities include meeting client expectations while maintaining profitability and service level agreement standards.
What will you be doing? 
  • Achieves quarterly and annual renewal sales goals
  • Work with Sales and Customer Success Leadership to develop and execute variety of competitive sales strategies
  • Execute against defined competitive sales methodology to secure long-term agreements
  • Develop & foster strong professional relationships with internal business partners including Customer Success, Finance & Accounting, Contracting, Sales, and Executive Leadership
  • Review, analyze, and interpret agreements with high degree of accuracy
  • Identify roadblocks and works effectively with internal and external customers to resolve
  • Prepare professional, well written quotes and contracts for presentation to customers
  • Identify customer attrition risks, develop cross-functional plan to successfully mitigate
  • Effectively positions upside sales opportunities through strong partnerships with Diversified sales
  • Develop, create, and run reports as required using various internal systems
  • Act as an escalation point for B2B collection activities
  • Master and maintain an extensive working knowledge of Diversified solutions and services
  • Prepare the commercial parts of sales proposals for submission to clients.
  • Build and compile pricing models for specific proposals and provide input into the development of standardized pricing models.
  • Incorporate Diversified terms and conditions into the structure of client financing models and master services agreements.
  • Provide support to relevant team by assisting with the maintenance of vendor warranties to ensure inclusion in the construction of deals.
  • Lead or participate in the negotiation of deals with clients by interpreting information and providing advice on the commercial viability of the opportunity.
  • Proactively provide tools & information to both Account Executives and clients to enable agreement renewal, including modified equipment list pricing and warranty detail
  • Generate forecasting and opportunity reports for business groups and leadership (monthly)
  • Create equipment list quotes from BOMs & completed site surveys
  • Maintain existing Agreements (database updates, price/date changes, etc.)
  • Process and monitor Sub-coverage purchase requests to fulfill new & renewal business
Physical Working Environment:
  • Work is performed in an office environment with long periods of sitting and keyboarding
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk and reach with hands and arms
What do we require from you?
  • High School Diploma Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree Desired
Required/Desired Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in inside sales & negotiation with a strong focus on complex agreements
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals
  • 3+ years of experience with complex contract research, review, & analysis
  • Executive level communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Exceptional people skills - ability to work well with personnel at varying levels
  • Ability, on a consistent basis, to function in a fast-paced environment, under substantial time pressure and to perform under the demands set by the company
  • Demonstrable experience working in the field in a similar role within a services organization
  • Proven experience working with pricing assumptions and developing pricing models
  • Demonstrated experience in deal structuring, pricing review, and negotiation experience
  • Good understanding of the local operating, commercial and general business conditions
  • Well-developed negotiation skills
  • Lateral thinking ability
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Good business and commercial acumen coupled with an analytical mind.
  • Ability to work under pressure without compromising quality and accuracy
  • Solid team skills, particularly engaging with the team to continuously develop own expertise
  • Good communication skills, especially related to facilitation, documentation, and reporting
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
