The Digital Experience Group is a horizontal specialty that supports growth across Diversified’s core practices.  We work with organizations of all verticals, shapes and sizes, including Media & Entertainment, Enterprise, Federal, Sports, and Venues, to optimize their complete digital communications distribution and consumption (IPTV/Digital Signage) model.  This includes building Premise or Cloud based Digital Signage, Content Creation/Creative Services, CMS integration, rollout & management solutions, Experiential and Immersive environments enabling our clients to operationally distribute and manage communication & content globally.


The Sales Executive of Digital Experience role is a position in the Digital Solutions Business Unit of the Diversified organization.  The Sales Executive is responsible for the business development and sales growth of the Digital Experience market in the US.  This position will be responsible for combining a market understanding, consultative sales approach, superior product/application knowledge.  This position will report to the Director of Sales, Digital Solutions.



What you’ll be doing?


The Sales Executive will demonstrate a creative and innovative approach uncovering opportunities in the Digital Experience space achieving and exceeding sales targets. You will have a consultative approach to opportunities, and understand how to investigate business KPI’s at large, and relate that to technology offerings in the industry to build a value-added solution.  You have a knack for asking broader questions and discerning long-term needs and solutions outside of the traditional “product” sale.  This style of opportunity and selling is inherent to Digital Experience and is a requirement to be effective.  You would have a grasp of technology as it relates to the industry’s current and future states, along with strong market segmentation (verticals) knowledge.




Requirements of this job:


Business Development & Sales:

·       Act as the lead for Digital Experience’s development of discovery/consulting practices, proposed solutions and large-scale specialty opportunities related to the following technologies:

o   Premise and Cloud based Digital Signage

o   Content Creation/Creative Services

o   CMS deployment and management

o   Experiential and Immersive environments

·       Pursue and develop Digital Experience business opportunities within the entirety of the Diversified customer base, as well as other potential growth markets with Account Executives

·       Evangelize, Educate and Develop clients/targets in the Digital Experience space, keeping abreast on the evolving technology landscape utilizing your SSP – Solution Sales Professional to define the correct approach & delivery

·       Proactively serve as point person with aligned team members in Digital Experience supporting a team approach to winning & closing business

·       Work in conjunction with Sales Director to assist in acclimating to the Diversified selling environment





What do we require from you? 


Technical Sales Experience

·       Strong problem-solving skills and analytical acumen, with the ability to drive change and function in a complex fast paced technical environment.

·       Experience and knowledge with developing and optimizing solutions related to Digital Signage, Content Creation/Creative Services, CMS rollout & management, Immersive and Experiential environments

·       Understanding the technology and business of distributing, managing and measuring digital communication/content across enterprise platforms

·       Knowledge of CMS and general cloud service technology.

·       Understanding of IT and networking technologies a plus


Selling Skills & Experience

·       US market experience and understanding of core vertical markets buying principles

·       Ability to make smart and informed decisions under pressure, critical thinking and execution

·       Highly driven performer, consistently exceeding goals and determination to win against the competition

·       Proven ability to identify and develop new sales opportunities 

·       Team player with the ability to foster collaboration and best practices in the business unit

·       Desire to work in a thriving, high energy, ever-changing work place 


·       Elevated level of professionalism (excellent oral & written communication skills, as well as excellent in-person presentation skills) 

·       Experienced user of software CRM tools (Sales Logix knowledge is a plus) 

·       MS Office skills 

·       Bachelors, Associates, or Technical degree, or equivalent work experience accepted

·       5-7 years of outside sales experience with successful results
