Why CHOC Children’s Specialists?  Come join an organization that is defining the future of pediatric medicine in clinical care, research and education.  We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner for our Gastroenterology Division. for inpatient care.  With demonstrated expertise, the Nurse Practitioner will work on the inpatient GI service as an important member of the GI care team.  The candidate will assist in the care of patients including patient assessment, care coordination, education regarding procedures and disease states, developing quality measures and discharge management.    The Nurse Practitioner will assure continuity of care between the inpatient and outpatient environment in concert with subspecialty program team members.

The successful candidate will be a CA licensed and certified Nurse Practitioner with two years experience in direct patient care. Drug Enforcement Administration registration is required for all candidates. Candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills.  Experience in pediatrics required, experience in gastroenterology is desired.
