Position Title:                    Training Coordinator

Department:                      Security

Reporting Relationship:  Manager, Compliance and Standards

Work Schedule:                Monday - Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (as well as, stadium events (Which may include nights, holidays, and/or weekends)

Status:                               Full-time (Exempt)

 

Position Summary

This position is responsible for all aspects of stadium safety and security training program, which is inclusive of designing course material, scheduling trainings for staff and record keeping.

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Perform training sessions in the following areas:
    • AED & CPR
    • Operation of security platforms & equipment
    • Unarmed security guards through NCDPS
    • 300 and 400 level ICS command systems
    • Stop the bleed course
  • Performs administrative duties to track completion of training, scheduling of classes and resources
  • Create and update materials as dictated by changes in regulations and/or programs
  • Stay in the know and recommend training such as Teex.org, FEMA and NCS4 when appropriate
  • Create content for staff to use remotely such as Youtube or any other TSE video platforms to complete trainings
  • Create training validation mechanisms for safety and security training modules
  • Deliver and facilitate structured safety and security training, development programs and initiatives in support of company training objectives.
  • Work with CFD and CMPD to create safety and security awareness training materials
  • Assist with stadium safety inspections
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Previous security and safety training experience
  • Certified to teach AED & CPR (or in process)
  • Certified trainer for the operation of security platforms and equipment
  • Certified trainer for unarmed security guards through the NCDPS
  • Certified to teach 300 and 400 level ICS command systems (or obtain in first year)
  • Certification to teach stop the bleed course (or obtain in first six months)
  • Proficient in designing and delivery of oral and written presentations
  • Must be available to work evenings and/or weekends to support Live Stadium events, including events held on weekends, nights, and holidays when necessary
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must pass pre-employment screens

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

 

Physical Requirements

  • Standing for extended periods of time
  • Walking throughout the stadium and stadium grounds
  • Lift at least 30 pounds

 

Work Environment

  • This job operates mostly in an outside environment and in a stadium facility at times which may include inclement weather conditions.
