$16.11 per hour. Additional $4.48 per hour paid to Fringe (401k, Health, and Life Insurance)

Must be able to pass drug screen, background screen, and have valid identification for E-Verify.
 
Good attendance is key to success in this role. 


SUMMARY STATEMENT/POSITION OVERVIEW

The order filler is responsible for sorting, inspecting, and palletizing all unprocessed mail transport equipment such as plastic trays, cardboard sleeves, cardboard boxes, and mailbags. The order filler will be responsible for identifying any damages in the equipment that would qualify it as unable to be reused. Once the equipment passes inspection, the order filler will place the material on a pallet. The order filler must also meet production goals by producing a certain number of pallets (of reusable material) per work day.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect, sort, and palletize mailbags, trays and sleeves by size or number

  • Meet daily production goal
  • Ensure cleanliness of all assigned work areas
  • Follow all safety rules
  • Perform other duties as assigned

SPECIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE OR QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Ability to identify all parts associated with sorting
  • Ability to identify damaged or non-conforming product
  • Familiar with basic math (ability to count)
  • Ability to follow processes
  • Ability to work within a team environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds and push/pull 40 pounds
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow instruction from supervisor
