NYC Facilities Technician - PT

TITLE: Facilities Technician

REPORTS TO:  Facilities Supervisor, Facilities Manager

DIRECT REPORTS:

WHO YOU ARE

A dedicated team who ensures the full functionality and maintenance of the facilities to create experiences that are meaningful and engaging.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Uphold and maintain the venue’s visual presentation and operations of all technical features including but not limited to: cameras, audio & visual aspects, motorized components, plumbing and electrical. 

• Participate in all venue opening and closing procedures to ensure the space is ready for a high volume of guests each day.

• Perform inspections of the venue on a daily basis, conducting any general maintenance needed such as: carpentry, painting, and technical repairs.

• Participate in projects and tasks relating to the venue’s technical features, build-out of new venue additions, and alterations to existing installations.

• Ensure safety by reporting faulty items requiring repair or maintenance. 

• Act as a brand ambassador reflective of the company’s values.

• Participate in all other projects tasks as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be 18 years or older.

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in a high-volume environment.

• Must have an understanding of repair and maintenance concepts as well as basic hand and power tools. 

• Must be detail-oriented, punctual, and reliable.

• Must be inclusive and discerning.

• Must be able to participate in all essential job functions, including lift/carry 50+ lbs.

• Must be flexible with tasks throughout the work day.

• Open availability is required (including weekends & holidays).
