The position we are brewing:

 

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® is seeking a Head of Supply Chain for our Americas business. The Head of Supply Chain, Americas, will be based out of Americas Support Center Office reporting to the Head of Finance and Supply Chain with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Global CSCO based in Singapore. This role will oversee the Americas Supply Chain Team and actively partner with our Sr. Director of Global Logistics who is based out of our Roasting & Distribution facility in Camarillo, CA.

 

What you will Measure and Blend:

  • Manage purchasing for all Food, Beverage & Packaging that is not sourced through our global supply chain. E.g., all Food, Dairy etc.
  • Work closely with Operations & Marketing teams for Sales, & Operations Planning for Core & Limited time offers.
  • Be responsible for 12-month rolling forecasts & demand planning for all items across the Americas including Retail sales. Provide regular feedback to the business on how we are tracking as compared to the forecast.
  • Oversee all local logistics and distribution needs and constantly evaluate the costs for each direct to store supply source to ensure optimized distribution network across the Americas.
  • Be responsible for Budgetary compliance on COGS as well as Supply Chain & Logistics Cost Targets.
  • Lead local sustainability processes and supply chain innovation and build a sustainable pipeline of suppliers to support expansion of CBTL company and franchise Cafes across the Americas.
  • Be responsible for Quality Assurance within the Americas and ensure a robust auditing system is in place for all market vendors.
  • Ensure Fill Rates and Out of Stock levels are monitored on a weekly basis to provide feedback to Global as well as Local teams (Supply Chain teams and Vendors).

Your Ingredients:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of Supply Chain experience in a multi-national company with a minimum or 3+ years of people management experience. Prior experience in F&B industry preferred.
  • Candidate should demonstrate ability to influence decisions and drive action, as well as navigate ambiguity through logical thought process and clear framing of issues and recommendations across different mediums of communication.
  • Functional skills required: analysis & problem solving, business planning & development, strategic cost management, and internal controls.
  • Business skills required: external focus, change leadership, communication, and developing people and organizations.
  • Proficient with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; Microsoft Dynamics, preferred.
  • English proficiency required.

This role may be subject to the following working conditions:

  • Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
