Building & Maintenance Supervisor

In this role you will:

 The Maintenance/Building Supervisor is responsible for the total maintenance of the building in accordance with regulatory standards.

What qualifications do you need:

• Responsible for the general cleanliness and sanitation of the facility as well as the safety and well-being of the residents and facility structure and its contents.
• Responsible for meeting and maintaining regulatory and company safety standards.
• Keep the building in a clean and orderly condition by examining the building on a regular basis for needed repairs, maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Perform or arrange for general building and fixture repairs.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build a strong team, including performing skill assessments and developing training plans for staff.
• Report any unusual conditions or malfunction of heating/cooling, plumbing and electrical systems or any other incidents.
• Responsible for key maintenance and other security systems.
• Makes estimates of labor and/or materials for repair or new construction.
• Assists in planning repair/renovation projects.
• Oversees and coordinates work with outside contractors.
• Responsible for the ordering and inventory control of maintenance supplies.
• Responsible for garbage and refuse disposal.
• Supervise maintenance of landscaping and upkeep of grounds equipment.
• Other duties as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Supervise maintenance staff, housekeeping, and outside contractors.
• Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.

Minimum Qualifications:

·High School Diploma or equivalency.

·10 years construction and repair experience.

·Knowledge in electrical, plumbing, plaster, painting, door hardware, and general maintenance.

·7+ years experience with supervising maintenance and housekeeping staff.

·Previous maintenance experience in a residential treatment facility preferred.
