Call Center Representative

Under general supervision, the Call Center Representative is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to patients over the phone. Individuals in this role schedule patient appointments, collect and validate patient insurance information, identification, and collects fees as required to coordinate activities for patients to receive care. 

This is an office position located in Coburg.  After 90 days, a hybrid work schedule is possible! 

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:  

  • Schedule patient appointments according to provider preferences 
  • Take customer calls and provide accurate, satisfactory answers to their queries and concerns 
  • De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied patients, offering patience with assistance and support of their needs 
  • Collaborate with other call center professionals to improve customer service 
  • Ability to interact effectively, and in a supportive manner with persons of all backgrounds 
  • Sustain excellent patient interactions using clear communication and problem-solving skills 
  • Cover medical records and prior authorizations when needed 
  • Communicate efficiently to back-office staff regarding needs of patients 
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive patient information at all times 
  • Perform other duties as assigned   

Requirements and Qualifications:

Education: High school graduate or equivalent is required. 
Certificate/License: None. 
Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of customer service experience is required.
