Facility Supervisor- Maintenance and Sanitation
1.0 POSITION SUMMARY
The Facility Supervisor will work under the direction of the Day Operations
Manager and is responsible for the oversight of the daily activities with facility
management to include maintenance and sanitation of offices, warehouses, and
grounds. The position will promote a safe and productive environment by proactively
planning, monitoring, and scheduling timely maintenance, sanitation and repairs of
facilities, equipment, security and systems that meet and/or exceed regulatory
compliance; to include but not limited to limited to OSHA, USDA, Food Safety, Health
Department, and the State Fire Marshal. The position will perform the essential duties
and responsibilities by the way of self, delegation or in conjunction with management
and/ or sub-contractors.

2. Zero Lost Time Accidents
3. Maintain a 97% or higher score on SQF audit
4. Maintain a 97% or higher score on Customer audit
5. Maintain a passing score on USDA audit
6. Manage labor costs to reduce overtime to 1% or less as a percent of packages shipped
7. Maintain 96% or higher on retention rate
3.0 ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate, supervise and direct the daily work of the sanitation employees and
subcontractors that are engaged in timely maintenance, sanitation and repairs of
facilities, equipment, security, and systems.
Perform daily office, warehouse, and grounds inspections to ensure pristine
conditions and compliance with sanitation activities and documentation
requirements.
Ensure all work activities are performed with the highest standards regarding
safety and a focus on continuous improvement.
Own and maintain documentation and retention of compliance checklist, MSDS
binder, etc.
Source and maintain appropriate inventory for approved cleaning supplies and
related parts.
Review and prepare invoices related to facility maintenance, sanitation, and
service for approval.
Partners with the Director of Special Projects and the SQF Practitioner to lead and
sustain Food Safety Compliance and assist Food Safety Audits.
Assist with special projects including building expansions, renovations, and other
building and site improvements, to include but not limited to defining scope of
work, optimizing layout, and obtaining cost estimates.
Serve as the primary point of contact for environmental and utilities services.
Respond to after-hour calls related to building safety, security, and physical
operations (i.e., HVAC, electrical, plumbing, refrigeration).
Ability to travel and assist other CCP locations when needed.
Perform all other duties and assigned tasks as required.
4.0 REQUIREMENTS
Requires a High School Diploma or GED, Associates Degree, or the equivalent of 3-5
years of experience in facility and/ or warehouse maintenance.
Facility related certifications preferred.
Business acumen is essential.
Strong leadership skills and ability to develop accountability systems to achieve
high level goals.
Ability to analyze data timely, efficiently, effectively, and multi-task projects and
assignments simultaneously.
Demonstrated ability to remain focused with changing objectives, deadlines, and
priorities beyond one’s control.
Moderate computer skills with the ability to analyze data and formulate
improvement plans based on results.
Must possess the ability to effectively communicate both oral and written.
Ability to work in a refrigerated work environment between -10 degrees and 65
degrees.
Ability to work weekend rotation shifts and some nights as leadership
responsibilities require.
Ability to work holidays where the company remains open for business.
Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
Must pass a drug and alcohol screen.
Valid Driver's license

Lifting of objects up to 60 lbs. may be necessary. Pushing objects up to 500 lbs. This
position requires moderate climbing, kneeling, crawling, stooping, squatting or bending. It
does require working in a constant 34-degree temperatures in coolers, as well as a below
0-degree cooler.
