Administrative Assistant

Spotsylvania Towne Centre is looking to hire a full time Administrative Assistant (Secretary) to support clerical and data entry needs at the mall’s office.  We are specifically seeking candidates who are detail-oriented, dependable, independent thinkers, with a “can-do" attitude. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Secretarial and Receptionist duties
• Filing, scanning and other clerical work
• Data entry
• Mail processing
• Assist with time tracking and scheduling
• 90% or more of the time spent in office, less than 10% in the field (mall concourse or out of office)
• Other duties as assigned by your supervisor

SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Associates or other degrees and certificates preferred)
• Solid knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access) with a high degree of comfort working with computers and learning new programs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent typing skills, proofreading, and grammatical skills
• Strong attention to detail, meticulous work habits and high degree of organizational ability
• Energetic, proactive approach to work and the ability to self-motivate
• Professional attitude and an internal customer-service orientation
• Experience with Accounts Payable is a plus
• Experience with JD Edwards, ERP or MRP Systems a plus
