GC&E Systems Group is seeking an Information Technology Manager who will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining all IT systems within GC&E Systems Group & GC&E Federal. These systems include cyber security, disaster recovery, database protection, help desk, ERP, O365 tenants and collaboration, and security information and event manager (SIEM). Manages IT team to ensure that all applications are functional, secure, and benefiting the value of the organization. Ensures compliance with standards (e.g., ISO 27001, ISO 20000-1, NIST 800-171, DoD CMMC) and relevance with industry security norms. Develops and delivers security IT standards, best practices, architecture and systems to ensure information system security across the enterprise. Implements procedures and methods for auditing and addressing non-compliance to information security standards. An immediate function of this individual will be to help lead the consolidation of IT departments between GC&E and some of it’s sister companies. 
 
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
  • Completes all required administrative tasks in an accurate and timely manner
  • Maintains/renews industry certifications
  • Maintain and support IT networking infrastructure which includes networking, wireless, MDM and firewalls
  • Promote efficiency of routine operations by increasing standardization, creating automation and scripting of tasks
  • Manage information technology and computer systems
  • Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data operations
  • Manage IT staff by recruiting, training and coaching employees, communicating job expectations and appraising their performance
  • Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
  • Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
  • Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
  • Audit systems and assess their outcomes
  • Preserve assets, information security and control structures
  • Handle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Experience / Education / Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in an IT or business field preferred. An appropriate mix of experience and certifications could substitute.
  • Intermediate IT Skills in infrastructure support, security, server administration, and networking
  • Proven experience with compliance in ISO/CMMC/NIST environments.
  • Project management experience
  • Proven ability to quickly identify problems, form solutions, and execute step-by-step troubleshooting procedures
  • Proven working experience as an IT Manager or relevant experience
  • Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
  • Intermediate knowledge in data center management and data governance
  • Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
  • Outstanding interpersonal and personnel management skills 
  • Desire to continually learn and grow
  • Outstanding listening and communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to remain calm and professional in all circumstances
  • Willingness to work, train, exchange skills and share knowledge with co-workers
  • Happy, enthusiastic attitude 
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization and with users with varying technology skills
