SSD is seeking a Cyber SW & HW Architecture Design Engineer with an active TS clearance

Contractor shall use engineering design information/data (security classification guides, safety standards, interface control documents/diagrams, system/computer bandwidth specifications, ground/flight test reports, data analysis, standards, protocols, etc.) across the portfolio of F-16 avionics hardware upgrades/modifications and OFPs (on-aircraft software) to determine foundational and derived cyber requirements that enable current and projected functionality, interoperability and security. Contractor shall create and maintain System Architecture Diagrams and ICD’s defining the architecture of the overall aircraft system used for design, integration, and installation of individual programs. System Architect will own and document the mux bus communications standards, Ethernet protocols and any other common resources required for communication between systems/subsystems, allocation of logical and physical addresses, interconnects required to keep programs from interfering with each other, planning for growth potential and standardization across blocks/systems/subsystems.

Key deliverables:

• System Architecture Diagrams

• System Level Interface Standards and Specifications

• Test Reports identifying limitations in computer bandwidth, speed, and throughput.

• Master Resource Loading - Trend Analysis of hardware metrics (Central Processing Unit (CPU), interface, memory) and software metrics (cohesion, complexity, size, language, operating system, etc.)

• Systems/Avionics/Software Roadmap showing avionics designs, prerequisite capabilities, pilot vehicle interfaces, interconnect standards leading to an executable path from current configuration to projected program requirements.

• Updates/changes to SCG and AT Plans

• Cyber test plans
