Learning Analytics Specialist

VGS is seeking a Learning Analytics Specialist

General Duties:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive plan to identify, capture, normalize, analyze and display analytics data for customer programs in a customer environment that includes general customer data (e.g. standardized scores, demographics, early intervention data, prior service data), Management activities, MedHub data, Simulation Center data, Portfolio, Standardize training data, Post training evaluation software.
• Architecturally provide assessment of standards and implementation technology to include xAPI, Caliper, LRS, Google Big Query, the Architecture and others as applicable.
• Creates and maintains design and development guidelines, including high-level and detailed procedures, user interface templates, instructional and assessment strategies.
• Researches and analyzes information and materials to determine content, target audience and learning objectives.
• Collaborate with the faculty to identify what data is meaningful from a research perspective and visual display methodologies. 
• Work with stakeholders to identify how the Analytics data can be used for strategic planning.
• In support of customer Strategic planning, build analogous data, information and knowledge to support the customer Strategic Plan.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, data analytics, or related field.
• CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
• 3+ years of experience performing learning analytics
• Experience developing robust ad-hoc reports that are easy to understand
