Software Factory Lead

Vista Innovative Services, LLC is seeking a Software Factory Lead to add to our Enterprise Analytics and Systems Support Services (EASSS) team in support of Human Resources Command (HRC) Enterprise Modernization Directorate (EMoD).

Responsibilities Include:

• Participate in planning and executing database migrations, application software upgrades/migrations.
• Performs high-level systems analysis, evaluation, design, integration, documentation, and implementation of very complex application that require a thorough knowledge of administrative and technical skills
• Analyze causes of outages to provide reports, give presentations to managements, and lead mitigation efforts of a team of technicians.
• Design, build, or operate equipment configuration prototypes, including network hardware, software, servers, or server operation systems
• Network troubleshooting, out of cycle monthly maintenance support, STIG Compliance
• Install software with the AWS environment as a lead technician.
• Analyze storage patterns, database usage, and workload trends
• Taking business requirements (features, change requests, etc.) as input.
• Responsible for other technicians and communicating to executives and stakeholder’s updates during lifecycles.
• Delivering the software as a flow of tested and defect-free releases.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate the actions of the software factory team
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the organization.
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field. Education may be substituted for years of experience.
• 9 years of experience in managing, mentoring, and leading software engineering teams
• Meet the IAT-II qualifications as outlined in DoD 8570-01.M
• Secret Clearance
• Extensive experience in managing, developing, and maintaining software in complex integrated application environments.
• Proven leadership experience and management of project lifecycles.
• Ability to explain complex technical solutions in simple terms effectively.
