GC&E is seeking an Installation Supervisor for a contract position in Atlanta for move, add, and change work in a Campus environment. Candidate must have previous experience.

 

Candidate will direct and supervise technicians, helpdesk wireless engineer, CAD technician and warehouse personnel.

 

Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Proactively address employee concerns in an effort to satisfy the employee and ensure compliance with stated policies.
  • Manage the job completion rate & monitor all jobs closed out daily as timeframes permit.
  • Coordinate installer’s schedules and ensure adequate staffing.
  • Train Installers to perform the standard installation procedures and provide technical advice to the members of the team/department.
  • Coach, counsel and evaluate field technician’s performance.
  • Communicate all project issues and concerns to immediate supervisor in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority to Lead Technicians.
  • Assist in the recruitment and selection of technical services personnel.
  • Ensure that employees are adhering to all safety requirements and regulations and lead or assist in weekly Safety Meetings.
  • Identify, monitor, and address problem areas and customer service/quality control issues and complaints.
  • Perform Quality Control Inspections
  • Resolve escalated customer issues quickly and in a manner that satisfies the customer and educate employees associated with the issue to resolve such issues without escalation
  • Track and document all Contract expenses
  • Managing material purchasing for the contract
  • Developing and maintaining written procedures as required
  • Preparing weekly reports detailing activity

 

Candidate Requirements:

  • Overall responsibility for supervising Technicians, inventory control, dispatchers, vehicle maintenance and hiring of technicians 
  • Overall responsibility for quality control of installations and service.
  • Responsible for Project Manager assignments, Installation and Service Technician scheduling 
  • Develop and maintain an educational environment where the knowledge and performance of the group is constantly advancing.
  • Work towards maximizing utilization of time and processes
  • Work directly with customer to coordinate projects and schedules and solve problems that arise during contract and task order execution. 
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
  • Analytical ability to solve complex problems.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • Understanding of building, infrastructure, and utility functions Computer Skills: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), AutoCAD.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.
  • Analytical ability to solve complex problems.
