SAP FUNCTIONAL ANALYST

We are actively seeking a SAP Functional Analyst (S4 HANA) to join our growing team. The SAP Functional Analyst will serve as the IT liaison to the business and is responsible for leading and/or executing the analysis, design, configuration, testing, implementation, and operational support of the business functions.   

 

SAP FUNCTIONAL ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES

• Engage with our business Stakeholders in a Trusted Advisor capacity to strategically provide and match solutions to business needs.
• Collaborate with the Stakeholders as a business partner with expert SAP knowledge as they initiate operating improvements.
• Understand how the solutions impact business processes and organizational change management across the enterprise.
• Facilitate business process reviews to gather expected business outcomes and functional requirements, document end-to-end processes and business requirements.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and create the configuration rationale to design and configure SAP applications.
• Design, test and deploy the technical components required for successful SAP solutions, especially RICEFs (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Forms) design and testing;
• Work with the SAP Development team to unit test and deliver SAP Applications by defining and documenting reusable test scenarios, building unit test cases and creating data for unit testing as needed; participate in design and execution of system, integration and     performance testing.
• Participate in prioritization of work requests to deliver on business initiatives; create estimates for upcoming projects, minor and major enhancements.
• Work with business analyst (peers) to architect cross-functional, integrated solutions across the enterprise to support.
• Conducts problem analysis as needed. Escalates complex issues for additional analysis and resolution as appropriate.

 

SAP FUNCTIONAL ANALYST ROLE REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience as in SAP S4 systems
• Strong functional knowledge and experience in WM, SC, SD, PP or FICO are desired
• Specification of test scenarios and plans for functional and integration tests
• Experience creating functional specifications for RICEF objects
• Effectively communicate difficult and complex concepts clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
• Working knowledge of integration between core S/4 and other line-of-business applications
• Excellent analytical, writing, and presentation skills; solid business analysis with the ability to effectively facilitate group discussion and build consensus.
• Self-motivated and takes initiative
• Bachelor’s degree in the field of MIS, Engineering, Computer science, or Business.
• Strong desire to learn new technologies and tools
• SAP certification is a plus
