The Agency Financial Advisor supports the national expansion of Senior Market Sales and Insuractive as well as Sequent Planning, a registered investment advisor.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to):
- Create financial plans for clients introduced through Centers of Influence at SMS, Alliant or elsewhere
- Financial planning process is supported through utilization of software modules offered within the Insuractive/Sequent platform
- Support to include: FactFinding with the end clients to determine their expenses, income, insurance coverage, financial objectives, tax status, risk tolerance or other information needed to develop a financial plan; Answer client questions about financial plans and strategies and giving financial advice; Advise strategies for clients in investment planning, cash management, and insurance coverage (if applicable) and any other areas to help them reach financial objective
- Review client accounts and plans on a regular basis to understand if life or economic changes, situational concerns or financial performance necessitate changes in their plan
- Analyze financial data received from clients to develop strategies for meeting clients' financial goals; Prepare or interpret financial document summaries, investment performance reports and income projections for clients
- Implement financial plans or referring clients to professionals who can help them
- Manage and update client portfolios. Contact clients regularly to discover changes in their financial status
- Be a leader to grow the combined financial solution offerings from Insuractive and Sequent to accelerate the market awareness of the expanded offering to different centers of influence (large groups) including large Medicare Agencies, Alliant Employee Benefit groups and other opportunities
- Act as a main point of contact and deal effectively with queries from clients and business colleagues through effective communication
- Manage and resolve service issues
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business with a minimum of 2 years financial services industry or related field preferred
- Series 65 (equivalent to FINRA Series 6/7 + Series 6) required or obtain within 180 days of hire
- Life and Health License a plus
- Ability to multi-task and handle a fast-paced work environment
- Highly effective verbal and written skills preferred
- Ability to perform and act professionally in all situations
