An excellent career opportunity is currently available for a Manager, International Household Goods Procurement reporting to Aires Pittsburgh, PA office.
This exciting opportunity is in a high growth environment where you will utilize your experience to manage Aires’ international household goods partnerships and procurement process to achieve the highest levels of service and to maximize profitability.
Position Responsibilities:
- Resolves partner service issues and escalations swiftly and communications resolution
- Negotiates discounts, rebates and referrals; ensures collection and maximization of profitability
- Directly manages business allocation in support of Aires’ agreed procurement strategy
- Ensures timely and accurate reporting of partner allocation/tonnage, spend performance and revenue
- Effectively negotiates, analyzes and tracks partner agreements, expirations and renewals
- Monitors Partner Portal and proactively works with partners to maintain current rates and info
- Supports Quality, Environmental, Security and Privacy programs by promoting adherence to policies
- Responds to after-hours issues and problems and escalates to appropriate parties
- Ensures that Aires’ partner network covers the geographic scope required by Aires’ business needs
- Participates in training activities to educate Operations staff regarding international HHG moving
- Participates in industry and company events, sales presentations and trade shows
- Ensures that Aires’ memberships and tonnage reporting to industry groups remain in good standing
- Serve as a backup/coverage for Family Services Partner Management
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years of household goods moving experience
- 3-5 years of procurement experience in the relocation industry
- 3-5 years of managerial experience in the relocation industry

- Excellent customer service and administrative skills
- Computer literacy with MS Office products, and ability to grasp proprietary software
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing tasks
