Summer Student

Paintearth Mine is looking for post-secondary students.  This position would run from May until August.

Responsible for the safe operation of major earth moving equipment including Track Dozers, Track Excavators, large Front-End Loaders, Motor Graders, Haul Truck, Water Trucks, The position requires boarding and de-boarding equipment and accessing inspection points to perform machine inspections. Work will be completed in varying extremes of environmental conditions with exposure to dust, noise, and adverse weather. Work may be performed on a multi-shift rotation. The schedule will include weekend work. Duties require some moderate laboring of repetitive sustained physical effort: walking, climbing sweeping, shoveling, service jobs, minor mechanical duties or standing on uneven terrain and lifting and carrying of materials up to 50 pounds. Work must be performed in strict compliance with all Company, Provincial, and Federal policies, rules, and regulations.
