Delivery Driver

This is an excellent opportunity to join Hawaii's leading convenience store chain, 7-Eleven Hawaii. We are expanding our business and adding delivery service to bring additional convenience to where you work, live, and play. We are seeking people-oriented individuals who provide good customer service both in the store and during delivery service.    

This position has the same responsibilities of a Sales Associate with the additional responsibilities of a Driver:

·         Preparing and displaying all food service products as required

·         Review orders and ensure that all items on the order are pulled and packed for delivery

·         Deliver orders to the customer

·         Accept payment for delivered items

·         Must follow Federal/State and County transportation laws

·         Complete needed paperwork for deliveries

Some of the Duties and Responsibilities of a Sales Associate are:

·         Greet and thank each customer in a sincere manner

·         Operate a cash register and correctly make change

·         Maintain a positive store image by dressing and grooming according to the company’s dress code standards

·         Be aware of merchandise sales and promotions

·         Work in the walk-in cooler and put merchandise on shelves

·         Mop the floors and empty the trash

·         Sell alcoholic beverages; refuse to sell alcoholic beverages to customers during restricted hours or to those who are intoxicated or under age

·         Other “odd” jobs which make 7-Eleven an enjoyable place to shop

Physical Requirements:

·         Constant standing (8 hours), bending and reaching with a moderate amount of manual dexterity

·         Frequent lifting 5 to 20 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds is required

Other Requirements:

·         The ability to understand and verbally communicate in English                                   

·         High School diploma or GED                    

·         Valid driver license                                     

·         Proof of insurance, current registration, and safety check                                          

·         Time management skills                                                               

·         Expert skill level using Google Maps or other GPS products
