The Night Shift Trainer is responsible for facilitating training and development of production team to ensure expectations for safety, quality, standard work, and 6S are available, adequate, known, understood, and followed. This position is typically M-F 7pm – 3:30am. Bilingual candidates are a huge plus!!



ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Trains all new production personnel on job expectations and job tasks

•Perform safety training for all new hires, including video and hands on

•Responsible for training workforce to be competent on all production lines

•Schedule, administer and track all training activities for all production personnel

•Create and maintain all certification and testing processes for all relevant positions

•Reviews daily staffing needs/roster assignments with Shift Lead/Supervisor

Reviews SWP for all product lines running on the shift

•Maintains and updates all job safety analysis


Must Have:

•High school diploma/GED

•Three months of experience as a Relief Operator or Machine Operator or Shift Lead

•Exhibited leadership qualities within projects or quantifiable actions

•Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

•Excellent attention to detail

•Ability to track data through Excel or similar program

•Ability to communicate in a positive and clear way

•Training experience


Nice to Have:


•Bilingual ~ Spanish/English

•Intermediate proficiency with Excel

•One year of RO or MO experience

•Five years of experience within the plant or manufacturing environment

•Lean Manufacturing experience
