Forklift Operator (Jones Lumber - Natchez)

Jones Lumber Company is seeking a qualified and experienced Forklift Operator to safely operate our industrial forklifts in a fast paced, team oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate an industrial forklift in a manufacturing environment
• The ability to work in a safe and efficient manner

Qualifications

• Industrial forklift experience in a manufacturing environment (ex. Taylor 300)
• Forklift license considered an asset
• Good interpersonal skills and communication
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot
• Enthusiastic, positive attitude
• Knowledge of the lumber manufacturing process would be an asset
• Knowledge of various material-handling equipment an asset
• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs
• Ability to exert muscle force in repeated or continuous motion for long periods
• Ability to stand for an extended period of time
