Summary

 

The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for invoicing for all customers of ICBA and subsidiary companies.  This position also manages the processes for renewal billings for bank membership dues, bank director program and corporate associate membership dues.  The Accounts Receivable Specialist will oversee NetForum batch management and AR and deferred revenue reconciliations.  Provide back-up and support to other accounting support staff for daily processing as changes in workload and vacation schedules dictate. 

 

This position is hybrid with in office presence expected to be 3 times per month at the Sauk Centre, MN location.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

 

  • Process and generate annual membership billing, review invoices and create ACH files for bank membership dues, bank director program and corporate associate membership dues.  Complete testing for annual dues billing.    
  • Review, invoice and maintain monthly subscription renewals including magazine, online and other educational products.   
  • Prepare and reconcile deferral balancing and reporting for ICBA and Subsidiaries for integration between NetForum and NetSuite.
  • Reconciliation of Accounts Receivable for ICBA and subsidiaries for integration between NetForum and NetSuite. 
  • Process, review, and monitor open A/R invoices on a monthly basis for distribution to departments and mail to customers. 
  • Process and generate monthly email invoice files to be sent to customers.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and use tax calculation reports for the VP Tax and Financial Analysis position to file.
  • Input new financial institution and update existing financial institution information in NetForum.
  • Assist with invoice coding, input, posting of invoices upon supervisory approval, and reviewing expense reimbursement and or credit card receipts.
  • Provide back up support to prepare remote deposit cash receipts for ICBA and subsidiaries and cash/credit card batches.  
  • Provide back up support for NetForum batch management which includes batch creation, reviewing, balancing and posting of user batch reports.
  • Provide back up support to process NetForum credits/refunds by credit card and import into NetSuite for a/p processing.
  • Support and backup for other accounting operations as necessary.
  • Other statistical, financial metrics and data entry work as directed by CFO, Controller, VP-Accounting, and VP Tax and Financial Analysis.

 

 

Qualifications

 

  • Associates degree in Accounting required. 
  • General knowledge of accounting principles and processes and an understanding of general office procedures. 
  • Experience with accounts receivable required. 
  • Experience with accounts payable and journal entries desired.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook), 10-key, data entry and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in various forms within the department, the association/subsidiaries and with the membership. 
  • Knowledge of NetForum and/or NetSuite considered beneficial.
  • Ability to work independently, including strong organizational and prioritizing skills.
  • Highly detailed and organized in work. 
  • Ability to work well in a team setting.
