Meal Order Desk Associate

We are currently recruiting for a Meal Order Desk Associate who would love to join our enthusiastic DO & CO team and implement the best industry practices for our luxury airline catering operation.

Responsibilities:  

 

  • Receiving orders from airline via different channels like web pages / emails / faxes. 
  • Maintain correspondence with airline stations regarding flight schedules and meal orders. 
  • Provide flight data and daily production quantity information to operational and production departments. 
  •  Make production forecasts using data on passenger numbers and maintain and update information on airline passenger numbers in the company systems.
  • Generate and distribute production and delivery plans.
  • Enter meal order numbers into production sheets.
  • Collecting Special meal orders for flights and sharing order information with purchase team.  
  • Printing delivery notes for coordinators and billing team.
  • Printing labels and equipment and food packers.
  • Updating production numbers throughout the day for production teams.
  • Attending department meetings with head chefs and production planning team to discuss and implement solutions.
  • Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook and report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team. 

  

Qualifications:  

 

  • Minimum of 1 years of year of work experience in an administrative field 
  • Proficient computer skills (Particularly Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.) 
  • Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent planning and coordination skills 
  • Team leader qualities and outstanding communication skills 
  • Dedication and attention to detail with regards to customer service.
  • Solution seeker and effective decision maker.
  • Hands-on approach, forward thinking, self-driven and dedicated individual.
  • Flexibility (different shifts - night, weekends, holidays) 
  • Analytical competence and attention to detail.
  • Ability to complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines.
