Sanitation Porter

Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning & sanitizing workstations, trash running, sweeping debris, and mopping, cleaning non-food contact surfaces, floors, drains, walls, windows offices, bathroom, uniform room and cafeteria, product storage racks, product storage coolers, product storage freezer, warehouse, clean waste-controlled areas, cleaning of trash cans.
• Observe and monitor daily cleaning functions of all production and non-production areas as required by necessity.
• Ensures all welfare areas (cafeteria, bathrooms, locker rooms, staircases, elevators, etc) to meet hygiene requirements and supplies are sufficiently stocked.
• Sorts, counts, and stacks cleaning chemicals and janitorial supplies within the chemical cage and moves it to the respective areas needed for cleaning, maintain cleaning tools.
• Complies with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the Standard Sanitation Operational Procedures and reports problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team. Performs other activities as assigned by supervisor and management.
• Troubleshoot issues as necessary.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years porter experience preferred.
• High school diploma/GED required.
• Willingness to work early morning or late-night shifts.
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision.
• Capacity to take direction.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds as necessary.
