We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic, energetic, and eager Flight Coordinator in Miami, FL (10min drive from MIA Airport).

What you'll do:

Reporting to the Unit General Manager, you'll represent DO&CO's high-end products and liaises closely with the international airline partners ensuring that the assigned flights are delivered efficiently according to the client's requirements. You will be primarily accountable for overseeing the loading of new outbound catering and the offloading of the inbound old catering - performing aircraft galley checks and truck checks to ensure a flight has been correctly serviced as well as following up with the team of food packers and ensures accuracy of the deliveries.

Responsibilities:
 

  • Maintain professional communication with different channels and distributes all incoming operational information to the affected departments.
  • Ensure production processes, quality standards, deadlines, and accuracy are met to hand over DO & CO’s high-end products to their aircraft crew in person without delays.
  • Ensure products and trolleys always meet the utmost quality standards and the delivery is done according to the customer’s instructions.
  • Conduct physical counts and pack additional equipment or products.
  • Identify procedures that can be improved and put forward suggestions for more efficiency and customer care.
  • Confirm special meals and the correct number of meals for each flight are ready, packed, and assigned correctly.
  • Work alongside a team of Food Packers with a Hands-on approach and assist in assembly line when necessary, setting up trays, preparing and packaging food inside a cooler/refrigerated area.


 
Qualifications:

 

  • Excellent planning and coordination skills
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Hands-on approach
  • Ability to work 50% of the day inside a cooler/refrigerated area
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and with a diversified clientele
  • Capacity to work well within a team as well as exhibit leadership skills
  • Must be able to read, write and communicate in English
  • Minimum of 2 years of related work experience preferably in customer service is beneficial
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Computer literate
  • Must have flexible availability
