We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic and inspirational Dishwasher Supervisor to join our growing New York Team!

Responsibilities:    

  • Unload and categorize flight trolleys and equipment, such as plates, bowls, trays, and silverware, based on class and type into designated plastic bins.   
  • Operate the dishwashing machine to clean all soiled equipment, adhering to international waste protocols and managing spill cleanup.   
  • Verify and document appropriate water temperature and chemical levels for cleaning processes.  
  • Supervise the stacking and sorting of clean equipment according to company specifications, ensuring all washed articles are placed in their respective areas.   
  • Promptly report any issues within the department, such as production, inventory, or team-related matters, to the supervisor or manager.  
  • Take charge of dishwashing room operations during the assigned shift, ensuring all dishwashers adhere to appropriate timelines and complete assigned tasks.   
  • Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area, promptly reporting any sanitation issues to the relevant party.  
  • Adhere to all company guidelines regarding cleaning and sanitation and provide training to team members while monitoring their performance.   
  • Fulfill other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.  

   

Qualifications:   

  • Brings a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience in a role like the current position, showcasing leadership skills.   
  • Demonstrates outstanding organizational skills and a knack for prioritizing tasks effectively.   
  • Capable of seamlessly managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment, dealing with a substantial workload, and sustaining periods of extended standing as required.   
  • Adopts a hands-on approach and exhibits the ability to respond promptly with a sense of urgency.  
  • The position entails physical demands, necessitating the ability to move, lift, carry, pull, or push as needed 
  • Displays flexibility in scheduling, accommodating different shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.  
  • Proficient in computer operations, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and other relevant applications.  
  • Possesses at least a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification. Bachelor's degree is preferred.  
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred.

  • Estimated Salary Range: $62,500 - $68,000 Annually
