Junior Buyer

We have an exciting opportunity for a Jr. Buyer to join our DO&CO Family in New York.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible of daily/weekly/monthly orders.
• Evaluate and facilitate approval on all purchase orders and coordinate with receivers and buyer(s) to ensure accuracy of all deliveries.
• Authorize payment for purchases by reviewing invoices and related documentation.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels consistent with targeted inventory goals.
• Follow up with vendors on open POs and clear void POs from ERP system.
• Conduct monthly inventory count.
• Ensure compliance of product specification and food safety.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Proactive and self-organized.
• Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.
• Ability to complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines.
• Flexibility (different shifts –days, nights, weekends, holidays)
