Software Engineer II
Position: Software Engineer II (Stoneham, Massachusetts)
Duties: Deliver business solutions with Amazon Web Services (AWS), JAVA, or SAP ABAP. Develop, code, configure, and test programs and systems in these spaces. Understand change management in context of Lean Service Management and use of ServiceNow tools and leverage DevSecOps and lean development principles such as Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery. Evaluate and implement enhancement design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance of software applications. Analyze assignments and determine software specifications that must be fulfilled to achieve objectives. Execute necessary documentation, as directed, or needed. Collaborate with other relevant stakeholders and team members to ensure that features meet business needs and follows industry- standard agile software design methodology for development and documentation. Remote position - Job may be performed anywhere in the U.S.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus three years of experience in software development or, alternatively, a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and one year of experience in software development. Specific skills/other requirements - Must also possess the following (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): designing and developing software solutions using Spring and Hibernate; writing code for new features using HTML, CSS, Angular, and Jquery for the front end; Continuous Integration Systems using Jenkins; source code management systems in Git; and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
