Sales Enablement Director

The Sales Enablement Director will work closely with marketing, senior management and account teams to create email campaigns aligned to our broader sales/marketing initiatives. The Sales Enablement Director will analyze market and competitive data and work closely with Industry Vice President and or Industry Director to determine outbound sales targets. The Sales Enablement Director will also provide prospecting through outbound channels, creating target lists, including managing drip campaigns, and driving conversion to leads.
 

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely and collaboratively with Industry Leadership (President, SVP, VP and Directors) to develop and implement appropriate prospecting strategies

  • Drive the definition of the overall demand generation and customer engagement plans, and lead execution of the plans for identifying target segments, cultivating market interest, acquiring new leads, engaging with prospects, and ultimately converting to customers

  • Develop and maintain ongoing omni-channel marketing plans that achieve a range of business objectives, from increasing product awareness to creating interest to nurturing leads

  • Design and guides execution of both targeted and ongoing marketing efforts - including industry events, email campaigns, account-based marketing and any other tactics as appropriate to drive the business goals, with a focus on impact attribution and post-campaign optimization

  • Develops key deliverables to support in marketing and sales activities for customer segment and industry

  • Define the metrics that will indicate success. Capture and share results to celebrate wins and highlight areas for improvement. Develop insights or learnings from each activity's results in order to identify new approaches, then build and execute the plans to put those approaches into action

  • Collaborate closely with Marketing team to leverage campaigns to aid in outbound activity

  • Enable high volume prospecting to qualified leads via email, phone and social touches using Groove, Salesforce Marketing Cloud,LinkedIn Sales Navigator and Salesforce CRM

  • Advance prospects to qualified leads

  • Utilize smart, targeted questions with decision makers in Marketing/Creative departments to identify needs and challenges of the prospective customer

  • Generate recommendations for business strategies and identify future business opportunities

  • Partner with client managers to understand client business needs and translate them into the implementation of effective solutions and partnering with internal employees to ensure we are maximizing our growth potential

  • Strong understanding of the marketing and sales funnels, customer engagement lifecycle, and the winning strategies and tactics at each stage

  • Experience scoping, defining, and delivering on brand and marketing projects

  • Ability to collaborate, lead and facilitate brand and marketing discussions from strategy through execution

  • Open communication, good writing & verbal skills, listening and learning and asking questions for clarification and understanding

  • Customer focused approach, demonstrating a desire to help solve customer business problems

  • Strong time management, focusing time & energy on the highest potential prospects and activities that drive success

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

  • Proven excellent customer service and networking skills and ability to maintain strong relationships with clients

  • The ability and confidence to flourish in a challenging and rapidly changing environment

  • Strong negotiation/closing skills and creative follow through skills

  • Excellent conflict and problem resolution skills with an ability to focus quickly on the key issues

  • Ability to work successfully with teams and to creatively and respectfully collaborate with peers
     

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • 5+ years of related experience: marketing, sales, creative direction, etc

  • Highly organized individual with excellent time management skills; highly flexible individual who can handle frequent deadlines and unplanned requests for quick action or response

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with minimal direction

  • Strong customer interaction and relationship-building skills; excellent verbal, written and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed business development and lead generation objectives

  • Experience with LinkedIn Salesforce.com, Groove (or similar sales engagement platform), Salesforce CRM and an interest in learning other sales enablement technology platforms

  • Experience with penetrating existing accounts via identifying new client contacts

  • Demonstrated experience with analytic ability including familiarity with financial analysis tools, budgets, and business planning

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
