The Graphic Designer is to perform creative work that supports brand marketing and overall creative direction for Alex and Ani. They will be responsible for working on a large range of creative projects and ensure that the visual look, brand image, and overall design aesthetic remain consistent.


Create designs, concepts and layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts

Maintain archives for graphic materials/resources

Take ideas or verbal briefs from the Art Director from concept to completion

Translate existing designs into pixel perfect assets while maintaining and expanding existing design paradigms 

Create detailed marketing material and supply screens with accurate data for presentations 

Generate detailed specs to effectively communicate design standards to the engineering and QA teams

Responsible for the organization and maintenance of deliverable files, including version control 

Maintain a repository of production-quality source files for various projects

Implement working processes for asset production as well as methods for efficiency and communication 

Be available to go on set for product photography, assisting Art Director. 


Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design related field

3-4 years of previous work experience in Retail or Fashion a plus

Clear understanding of graphic design and print expectations (including bleeds, die lines, PMS and process colors, retouching, formats, resolution, and usage)

Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.

Understanding and sensitivity to alignment, hierarchy, color theory, metaphors, page layout, page composition and typography

Extreme attention to detail with no tolerance for design inconsistency 

Ability to work with tight deadlines

Excellent communication skills; written and verbal

Able to multitask, manage time, and work well under pressure in a fast paced environment 


      On-Fig and Still Life photo shoot experience
