Peak Technologies is looking for a Mobile Device Staging Specialist to work in our local warehouse shipping, receiving and repairing mobile devices!  Great candidates will have a strong attention to detail but do not need to have prior experience in this field.  Customer orders and process documents will guide the day to day work!  
Here are some of the additional responsibilities for this job!  

  • Prepare work areas for the day’s activities. 

  • Read and follow process documents for configuring devices. 

  • Configure, process, stage, kit and audit devices per requirements. 

  • Keep areas clean and organized to ensure proper delivery and accurate orders. 

  • Pack and ship boxes for delivery.  Utilize shipper website tools for shipping. 

  • Inspect and confirm accuracy of devices. 

  • Unload, load and unpack boxes. 

  • Work in SAP, Salesforce and SONAR systems to support daily activities. 

  • Send customers email notifications when orders are shipped as well as anytime necessary to keep customers and sales reps up to date with timing, delays, delivery, etc. 

  • Provide device, staging and process support for customers relating to service issues. 

  • Execute provisioning activities including: spare device management, kitting, activations, container labeling, asset tag management, pre-staging, installation of images on devices and quality control adherence. 

  • Capture all required product identifier data elements as requested (e.g. ESN, IMEI, MAC, etc.). 

  • Execute additional warehouse activities including receiving, seed stock process flow, picking items, processing items, cycle counts, inventory process, 5S compliance and inventory disposal. 

  • Source spare parts or accessories as directed or required. 

  • Execute OEM provided service processes, as applicable. 

Required Qualifications (Education & Experience):   

  • Experience in the data capture/mobile industry working within a repair and provisioning facility, warehouse, OEM centric operations, using Lean Productivity & 5S methodologies a plus but not required! 

  • Basic computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite with a focus on Excel formulas and data analysis. 

  • Demonstrated  ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. 

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 

  • Demonstrated ability to follow procedures. 

  • Ability to plan, schedule and monitor multiple concurrent tasks to meet agreed deliverables and deadlines. 

  • Demonstrated extreme attention to detail, follow directions and maintain accurate documentation. 

  • Ability to work flexible hours, to meet variable customer needs. 

  • The ability to work and interact effectively in a team environment. 

  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude. 

  • Ability to react quickly, adjust, adapt and redirect activities in a dynamic environment. 

Physical Demands of Job: 

  • Warehouse and Staging lab environment, 75% standing/walking. 25% sitting. 

  • Subject to varied temperatures. 

  • Must be able to lift boxes up to 50lbs. 

  • Fast paced environment
